Flixborough Chemical Plant Disaster Report
The Flixborough disaster was an explosion at a chemical plant in 1974. It killed 28 people and seriously injured 36. Flixborough led to a widespread public outcry over process plant safety. Together with the passage of the Health and Safety at Work Act in the same year it led to an overhaul of process safety in UK process industries.

- Title, date, name & group number.
- General background of the plant.
- Summary of key incidents of event.
- Include images and sketches to support summary.
- Write an in-depth conclusion as to why the incident occurred and how it could have been avoided.
- State industry leanings and changes in practice from event.
Minimum word count 1500 words.
